Imitation is a lazy way to create.
It omits the essence of design and replicates an existing creation as closely as possible.
It may sometimes achieve part of an intended effect.
It never achieves the total effect that the original has.
So a 'strategy' of copying what others do for products is not going to work.
It's not even going to have the full effect in interior design world.
Human psyche picks up on faux design through the subconscious sense.
It stands out, in the worst possible way.
Much better approach is to use Design Thinking and design authentic creations.
Everyone can do.
Many are lazy to do so.
