This is not an example of Design Thinking in action.
Here we have a company which created million variations of the same product.
This is all through lack of understanding of what kind of a thing people will want to buy.
So they are trying to cover all circumstances and provide fake sense of choice.
Instead, what they are doing is creating choice paralysis.
Needless to say, these products do not sell well, as they are reflecting lack of certainty on the maker's part.
So don't create million product variants.
You will only confuse the customer's mind.
Empathise with the needs of people and deliver to those needs instead.
